A 33-year-old man is expected to be OK after being shot Friday morning, near 19th and Burns.
Wichita police say this man and a 38-year-old woman were going home, when they saw three males in the area, close to 4:10 a.m. These unknown males started shooting at the victim’s car, hitting the man. His injuries are described as not life-threatening. The woman in the car was not hurt.
Police also found the victim’s home has been shot multiple times.
An investigation is in its early stages, and police say they don’t believe this was a random incident. No details on the suspects or a motive have been released yet.
