1,705 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Kansas, 84 deaths

The latest figures from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment show there are 117 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the state today, bringing the total to 1,705.

84 people have died of the virus in Kansas, an increase of 4 since Thursday.  375 cases have required hospitalization.

In Sedgwick County there are 231 cases now.  More testing is being offered in the county which means more cases are likely to be diagnosed.

Butler County is now reporting a new confirmed case of Covid-19, bringing their total to 11.  The other counties surrounding Sedgwick are not reporting new cases.

Johnson County is at 358 cases as of today, while Wyandotte County has now reached 400.  Both counties remain the most impacted by the virus.
