847 Covid-19 cases in Kansas, 25 deaths reported

New figures from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment show there are now 845 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the state.

Those figures do not include Reno County’s latest case, and Harvey County has reported its fourth case, bringing the total to at least 847.  Three additional deaths have been reported in the state, bringing the total number to 25.

Sedgwick County now has 124 cases.  Reno County has 11 cases.

Harvey County is reporting 4 cases, while Butler has 8.  Sumner County still reporting 2 cases and Cowley County has one case.

Johnson County has 212 cases, while Wyandotte has 186.  198 cases statewide have required hospitalization.

464 cases are in women, with 380 reported in men.  Patients range in age from infancy to 97.

Kansas has added the state of Connecticut to a quarantine list.   People who have traveled to Connecticut on or after April 6th should quarantine for 14 days after their return to Kansas.   The list also includes Louisiana, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, California and Florida.   People who have traveled on a cruise ship or river cruise on or after March 15th, and people who have traveled internationally are also advised to quarantine at home.
