CDC now recommending cloth masks in public

Medical experts have been going back and forth on when or whether at all you should wear a face mask during the current pandemic.

The CDC is now recommending that you wear a cloth face mask when in public, especially in areas that have had a lot of community spread of the new coronavirus. In some instances, such as grocery shopping, you may not be able to keep a 6-foot buffer between you and others, and the CDC that’s an example of when the masks may help protect you.

Although the masks are now recommended, this only applies to cloth masks. The CDC wants N95 and surgical masks reserved for medical staff and first-responders.
