Sedgwick County health officials are reporting a second case of the coronavirus. The case involves a man under the age of 60 who has a history of travel to Colorado, which has been the focus of recent health warnings.
The county health department said it has identified that the only close contacts were household members, and they are being monitored for any symptoms. The patient is in home isolation and he will be in daily contact with health officials.
The other case reported earlier in the week was a woman in her 60s, and she is at home in isolation.
The case will bring the Kansas total of coronavirus cases to 56.
