Reno County reports first coronavirus case

Reno County reports first coronavirus case

Reno County health officials have reported the first confirmed case of coronavirus.

Health officer Nick Baldetti said the case involves a woman over the age of 60 who is in home quarantine and doing well.   Baldetti said the health department is looking into the patient’s travel history and anyone she may have had contact with.

More cases have been reported across Kansas, with a total of 48 COVID-19 cases reported in Kansas.  Sedgwick County has reported one case so far, and Riley County has now reported a case of the virus.   Johnson County has 24 cases, Wyandotte County has nine and Leavenworth County is now at four cases.
