Johnson County health officials have reported a sixth case of coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases for Kansas to nine.
The newest case is a man in his 50s, and it’s not known how he contracted the virus. Health officials are working to locate people who have had contact with the man. They said the man is in quarantine at home and he is doing well, and his family is also in quarantine.
This is the sixth case to be confirmed in Johnson County. The other cases were reported in Butler, Wyandotte, and Franklin counties.
