One man was fatally shot in west Wichita Wednesday morning.
Someone called 911 around 5:30 a.m. and reported the shooting at an apartment complex, in the 7100 block of West Shady Lane. This is west of Ridge, between Central and 2nd.
The victim was rushed to a hospital in critical condition and passed away soon after. He’s described only as a man in his 20’s.
Officials have not commented on a suspect or motive yet.
