NOTE: Record Store Day has been postponed until June 20th due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. All dates in this article have been updated to reflect this change.

It’s one of my favorite days of the year… Record Store Day. My newfound obsession with vinyl got me locked in and hooked for the past 5 years now, and 2020 is gonna be a good one.

Announced this week, June 20th will be the official day for exclusive releases. Last year, a couple spots in Wichita participated, most notably Spektrum in the Delano District.

The following are this year’s Record Store Day releases. Not ALL of these titles will be available locally, or even regionally. BUT, if you contact your favorite record shop, they can usually find a way to make a few copies appear.

There’s a lot, so my notable favorites are highlighted in bold and italics below.
