Klose Scholarship winners announced at Wichita State

Wichita State University has awarded five high school seniors the annual Doris and Ralph Klose Scholarships.

The scholarships are presented to students who will be seeking a degree in math or science education at Wichita State’s College of Applied Studies.

The winners include two Wichita high school seniors,  Rebekah Iseman of Bishop Carroll High School and Marlon Toney of East High.   The other winners are Keely Orr of Southeast Saline Senior High School in Assaria, Allison Flores of Timbre Creek High School in Fort Worth, Texas and Nathan Gosvenor of Little Elm High School in Little Elm, Texas.

The scholarships will provide tuition, fees and a book stipend, estimated at $19,000 once they are admitted into the Teacher Education program at the beginning of their junior year at WSU.
