A school bus was rear ended while stopped at a railroad crossing in southwest Wichita Thursday morning.
This happened around 6:45 a.m. at Meridian and Dora, in the northbound lanes. Four students had minor injuries and some parents went to the scene to pick their kids up. Other kids on the bus were quickly moved to another one and the route was finished.
Two kids were taken to a hospital to be checked out.
Northbound Meridian was blocked for a couple hours while crews towed the bus and the semi that hit it.
