HIM! THAT GUY! The one sitting next to Shawn Crahan (sans clown mask), in the top hat…. that HAS to be Tortilla Man!
The man being groped by the red arrow above is Michael Pfaff, a keyboardist and percussionist from “Clown’s” first band “Dirty Little Rabbits.” In a recent interview, Slipknot guitarist Jim Root offered a hint to his identity, saying he’s a classically trained pianist, and out of his mind…. SO… I offer up the following evidence…
ONE: Pfaff was the keyboardist in “Dirty Little Rabbits” (you can see him headbanging pretty hard over the keyboard around the 2:47 mark in their video for “Professional Hit”)
TWO: Classically trained, and a good percussionist, huh? (Notice the movements at the end of the solo… similar to Tortilla Man on the kit at Slipknot shows?)
THREE: Root said he’s out of his mind, which… if you’re in a band with Shawn Crahan… then yeah, you gotta be at least a LITTLE crazy to keep up with the dude.
FOUR: He’s from Des Moines, Iowa.
FIVE: His wife, on Instagram, follows four accounts, one of them is Slipknot, and only one Hashtag….. #TortillaMan
…. SO, I think it’s safe to say, we’ve FOUND TORTILLA MAN!!!!!
