Dear Sweet Baby Jesus… in your golden, fleece diapers…. it’s been 13 years since we’ve heard new Tool, and speaking personally, the wait was worth it.

“Fear Inoculum” is the title track off Tool’s upcoming fourth full-length studio album, more than a decade since the release of 10,000 Days.

The track is 10 minutes long and has the classic slow burn and build that Tool has become known for. It accounts for one-eighth of the album’s length, which guitarist Adam Jones said would be 80 minutes, and only 7 tracks. So, it’s safe to assume there’s more than one track on “Fear Inoculum” that exceeds the 10-minute mark.

The album will be released August 30th, and a special edition will feature a four-inch HD rechargeable screen with exclusive video footage, charging cable, two watt speaker, a 36-page booklet and a digital download card.

You can hear “Fear Inoculum” below.
