Jabara’s Carpet Outlet will be giving away more than 500 free rugs for classrooms for teachers to show their appreciation.
The event will take place starting at 9 a.m. Saturday at 17th and North Broadway in Wichita. The carpets will be available while supplies last.
The carpets are made from remnants and will vary in size, color and style. To receive a free rug, teachers will need to show a valid school district ID.
There will also be door prizes and a raffle for teachers who attend.
