Stitched Up Heart will release their sophomore album “Darkness” next spring, but already, they’re gearing up and releasing new music.
The first track, “Lost” already sounds amazing, but features Godsmack frontman Sully Erna in the bridge and harmonizing in the final chorus.
Erna, and SUH vocalist Alicia “Mixi” Demner, have known each other for a few years after touring together. Erna even helped write some material for the band that was unfortunately never used. But during that time period, promised to make a guest appearance on their next album.
Demner on Sully agreeing to be on the album:
“He really wants to help us out and pay it forward and give us a break. This is the biggest thing we’ve ever done. I’m having every emotion I can have. I can tell my grandchildren one day that, ‘Back in the day, when I was your age, I was rockin’ and rollin’ with GODSMACK on this arena tour.’ It’s just a mind-blowing opportunity.”
