VFW Over There Post 112 in Wichita is hosting the second annual Suicide Prevention Town Hall.
Dr. Jason Deselms, who leads the Wichita VA suicide prevent staff and is the suicide prevention supervisor for the Wichita VA will be the headline speaker. He has 17 years of experience working with high risk populations.
Joining Dr. Deselms will be Courtney Trear-Rains, also with the VA. They will present how the VA is field testing an outreach method to better reach at-risk veterans.
The Town Hall starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Over There Post 112, located at Harry and Topeka.
