UPDATE: It has now been confirmed that Bring Me the Horizon singer Oli Sykes has ruptured his right vocal chord, and THAT is why the band has cancelled their final two tour dates with Thrice and Fever 333.
Speculation was, it was due to the absence of bass player Matt Kean, who was missing during their performance on Jimmy Kimmel Thursday night.
BMTH will work to potentially re-schedule those dates in the future. You can read our original story below.

ORIGINAL STORY: It’s not immediately known why, but BMTH bassist Matt Kean was absent during the band’s performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night, with Fever 333 guitarist Stephen Harrison stepping in to perform “Medicine” and “Mother Tongue.”
Then, early Friday afternoon, the following tweet was sent out from BMTH:
Due to unforeseen circumstances our show in Las Vegas on Saturday February 16th has been cancelled. Refunds are available at point of purchase
— Bring Me The Horizon (@bmthofficial) February 15, 2019
The Fever 333 also issued a similar statement, but would return to select dates on an upcoming tour.
Bring Me the Horizon released their album “Amo” last month to high criticism from devoted fans. The heavily pop-influenced record divided longtime fans who have followed them since their early deathcore albums. Kimmel is the first performance that Kean has missed on this tour.
You can watch that performance in the videos below.
