An online campaign has been established for the family of a nine-year-old Wichita boy who was killed in an accidental shooting.
Police said nine-year-old Royale Spencer and an 11-year-old friend managed to unlock a bedroom gun safe on Monday at a home in the 2200 block of East MacArthur. The gun went off and Royale was killed. Three teenagers were also in the home.
A fundraising account was set up on the Go Fund Me website to help the family with funeral expenses.
