Sedgwick County announced this week that a second, larger tag office would open for business noon on Monday, December 10th. The new location at 5620 E Kellogg will have 25 tag clerks to reduce wait times and process customer transactions quicker. Satellite tag office locations in Brittany Center, Chadsworth Center, and Derby Towne Center will close Friday, December 7th to accommodate the move.
This opening supports the long-term goal of Treasurer Linda Kizzire’s to better serve customers. “This new location will be more convenient for our customers and our staff,” Kizzire said, “I am happy we were finally able to bring this project to fruition.” Residents may renew tags online, by mail, or in person at one of the tag offices. The main office is located at 2525 W. Douglas.
