We all kind of knew it was coming, but it doesn’t make it any less sweet.
Surviving members of Nirvana – Dave Grohl, Pat Smear and Krist Novaselic – took the stage together again with John McCauley of Deer Tick, and Joan Jett at SoCal Jam over the weekend.
Foo Fighters had been teasing “something special” all week. Then it happened.
Joan Jett performed a couple tracks – “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Breed” and “All Apologies.” McCauley, though, surprised everyone with his best Kurt Cobain impression on “Serve the Servants,” “Scentless Apprentice” and “In Bloom.”
