So Cal Jam will have three quarters of Nirvana on site this weekend. Dave Grohl and Pat Smear obviously play in Foo Fighters, and Krist Novaselic’s band “Giants in the Trees” is also slated to play.

That’s Joan Jett playing with the remaining Nirvana members at a club in 2014 following the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions. That same night, they also played with Kim Gordon from Sonic Youth, St. Vincent, John McCauley of Deer Tick, and J. Mascis from Dinosaur Jr.
