...Am sitting in my office listening to the new Volbeat full length as i type this....am a huge fan of track 5 (Cape of our Hero) and 11 (Lonesome Rider).....actually the entire cd is outstanding and I hightly reccomend it....and I can not wait until they are at the Cotillion on May 9th!!!!! ...Mob Hit roles onward on T95.....Friday I will be giving away a grand.....1000 big ones!!! will be doing that every Friday actually .... will be out and about this weekend so as always I do hope to run into you soon!!...Rick

....I have always been a pro wrestling fan and I have absolutely no quams about telling anyone I am....there is no greater carnival on Earth in my opinion!....I mean where else can you get everything from really hot chicks slugging it out to steel cages and tabel/latters & chairs???....you simply can't beat it!....yes I am well aware of the fact it isn't "real" so to speak.....but who cares when it is that entertaining?....It's like I always say.....it is a soap opera for men!.....WWE Smackdown is on it's way to town and you can be I will be there!! and I do hope to see you there as well,.......it is FLAT OUT GONNA ROCK! ...With the T95 Mob Hit starting up Monday, I started thinking about my all time favorite mob movies of all time..........and to be honest once I started thinking about them I realized there were a few more than I had originally thought.....I would have to say my top 5 would have to be as follows: 5) Donnie Brasco....what an amazing story....4) Scarface...by far one of Pacino's greates roles..EVER....3) Casino....again what an amazing story.....2) Goodfellas....who can possible ever forget the Peschi scene about being a clown.....CLASSIC.....and 1) The Godfather trilogy.....I simply can not argue with a masterpiece.....honorable mentions going to The Departed....and The Untouchables. thank you for stopping by as always................Rick

....Unfortunately yesterday will become one of those "I remember exactly where I was when" days....and unfortunately it will do so for all the wrong reasons.....I will never understand what drives people...any people...to do such things....I mean to me it boils down to one simple question that has no legitimate answer....a one worded question that goes pretty much like this: why?....my heart goes out to the city of Boston....to the family and friends of the victims...and of course to the victims themselves.....stories are only beginning to surface about the heroic actions of Boston residents as well as spectators....if there is one thing Americans ALL seem to share...it is the ability to stick together in times of crisis...the ability to drop everything and focus on solutions together....it is the very essence and nature of that particular element in us that guided us through 9/11....Katrina.....and other catastrophic events throughout history....and it will guide us through this.....of that I am quite sure....again I my thoughts and prayers to everyone in Boston....thank you for stopping by.........Rick

....Finally baseball is back!!!!...oh what a long cold winter it was without it!!!....over the weekend I watched some Royals and of course some Yankees.....it is just so nice to be able to turn on the tv and watch some baseball.....congrats to WSU for a great season.....would have loved to have seen them win Saturday of course but they have nothing to be down about....they made it farther than any WSU squad has since 1965....and THAT IS IMPRESSIVE......I do hope you are having an outstanding Monday! ...Layne Staley....Kurt Cobain.........both passed on this day..years apart...but on the same date...April 5th........being a huge fan of both Alice in Chains and Nirvana, it saddened me then and it saddens me now....I can distinctively recall when Nirvana broke onto the scene and let the world know that life isn't a grand ol party for everyone.....and gave the silent masses a voice.........a loud booming voice that could not be ignored.......whether it was his intention or not Kurt Cobain became the face of a generation who yearned.....demanded to be heard.....Layne Staley basically invented a sound with Alice in Chains....from the first time I heard his voice (I believe it was Grind) I instanly knew there was something incredible going on.....his one of a kind sound is beuond unforgettable...Alice in Chains immediately became a band I would listen to at any time....I can recall many times losing myself in their music at 3am....or at 9pm....or at 12 noon....etc.....they simply spoke to me if that makes any sence.......Rest in peace Layne and Kurt........this world misses you.
