Casey Kasem will be sorely missed

  • Print

...Casey Kasem was to radio what stephen king was for paperback horror novels...if that makes any sense.....he brought radio into the forefront and openly displayed it's overpowering other words he hugely did his part to put this medium I love on the map....and for that I and many others in this business are forever thankful...I can vividly recall my younger days as a child just glued to the radio during Casey's American Top Forty show.....Rest in Peace Casey you have earned it....also on another note....later tonight I shall hoist a toast to one of the greatest baseball players the game has ever seen.....period.....Tony Gwynn....who passed away recently as well......what a great loss for the game......thank you for stopping by as always....Rick
