....I love America's past time....I realize I have made that known on several posts here....but I can't help but be as giddy as a kid in a candy store this time of year....my version of heaven includes extra innings at Yankee stadium.....as far as that goes....any ballpark.....I saw an HBO documentary the other night on Mantle....if it were possible to time travel one of the first things I would do would be to travel back in time and see Mantle play while he was in his prime....the old footage they showed was incredible....the ball would just explode off his bat...his swing was a work of art....he was so fast when he hit a hr he would literally be almost to 2nd base when the ball cleared the fence.....and that's just what i caught from old footage....I can only imagine what it was like to be there and see it live.....I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR......thank you as always for checking in........Rick
