WOW! What a weekend!
I told you last week I had a busy weekend planned. And boy was it! First of all, we went to Topeka on Saturday for my daughter, Gabby's Cheerleading competition. This was the first one in a big string of events this season, and if this one is any indication of what's to come, then look out! Gabby's team, Stardust with Cheer Eclipse, took 1st place out of 12 teams in her division! She was totally pumped, and I am one hell of a proud daddy! Good job Gab!
After getting some much needed sleep, I got up early Sunday morning and went down to Lawrence-Dumont and The Garage Bar & Grill for the 31st Annual Wichta Toy Run. I was thrilled to be a part of such a huge event! Someone said there was in the neighborhood of 40, 000 bikes taking part in the run! Next year I am definately riding. I have some great video and pictures coming tomorrow! I tried to get em up today, but my freakin computer won't stop crashing everytime I try!
Then to wrap up my Sunday, I went to Andover to help announce the 5th grade championship football game in the 2010 Mat Crowder Memorial Andover Bowl. These little dudes really duke it out just like the real deal! Congrats to the Cyclones, the 5th grade champs! Thanks to Junior and Scotty for helping me look a little less stupid. HA!
I PROMISE there will be pix and video from this weekend including Gabby's cheer competition and the Toy Run tomorrow! (as soon as the computer I punched gets fixed.....)
