YIKES! What a fun and busy weekend ahead! Here's what my weekend looks like......
I will be getting up at 4am Saturday to head to Topeka for Gabby's first cheerleading competition of the season. She has been working her butt off this summer! Wish her the best! GO CHEER ECLIPSE STARDUST!!!!!
Then Sunday will be a busy one, too! Rick Thomas and I will be at the kick-off to the 31st annual Wichita Toy Run in the parking lot of Lawrence-Dumont. Line-up for bikes will start at 10:30am, and the ride kicks off at 1pm. Come join us at The Garage Bar & Grill (at the end of LD's parking lot) for breakfast and live music from Blind Ambition, then come back for the after-ride party with live music from Ten Day Wish. Here is all the toy run info.
All weekend, there is a really cool youth football tournament going on in Andover. It's the Matt Crowder Memorial Bowl. One of my old high school buddies helps put this event on and has asked me to go out there Sunday at 4pm and "call" a game. Hopefully it will go smooth. We'll see. HA! If you would like to see some awsome 3rd-6th graders duke it out on the gridiron, click here for all the info.
Be listening for details soon on T95's "Not So Silent Night" concert! The official announcement will be a little after 10am on my show Monday, Nov. 15th. You will definately dig it. Oh, and be thinking about getting a new, unwrapped toy for the USMC Toys For Tots. Just like always, the first 100 people to the concert to bring a toy will get a t-shirt! And by the way, T95 is also a official drop-off location for Toys For Tots. If you win a prize from us, it would be cool if you could bring a toy for the kids! Well, if you wanna just come by anyway, the T95 Headquarters are at 4200 N Old Lawrence Road. DO IT!
Well, have a great weekend, and hopefully I'll see you at one of our many events!
